New Covenant will Dr. Daniel Willingham, PhD, a cognitive psychologist who for more than two decades has conducted research on the brain and how we learn. He has applied his research to children in the k-12 environment. He is the author of “Why Don’t Students Like School?” and “Raising Kids Who Read: What Parents and Teachers Can Do.” Dr. Willingham will spend the entire day of Monday, January 21, 2019 in faculty development with our teachers, and will present to parents the same evening at 7 pm. The event is free and all are welcome to attend.
