Teaching within the Classical Christian tradition is a deeply purposeful and formative vocation.
At New Covenant we teach with the end in view, which is the cultivation of wisdom and virtue in our students.
As teachers we are called to pursue those same qualities ourselves, recognizing that education shapes our loves as surely as it forms our intellects. Thus, we seek to present what is true, good, and beautiful with reverence and joy.
We steward the rich inheritance of the liberal arts, Holy Scripture, and the great works of history and literature, guiding students into thoughtful engagement with enduring ideas. We embrace this work as apprenticeship and discipleship, leading by example, inviting imitation, and cultivating habits of attention, memory, wonder, and reason through careful instruction and Socratic dialogue, while serving under supportive leadership that champions our mission, encourages our growth, and fosters a culture of collaboration.
In this vision, we are not merely conveyors of information, but living apprentices to the Classical Christian tradition, formed by the very wisdom we seek to impart.
