On Wednesday, New Covenant Students headed to several nonprofit organizations throughout the greater Lynchburg area to serve the community through various work projects. Students helped organize the food pantry at Compassion Church, helped with weeding and planting at Lynchburg Grows, painted at the Monacan Indian Nation, as well as many other projects at World Help, Old City Cemetry, The Arc, Rush Homes, Blue Ridge Pregnancy Center, Salvation Army, and Mission Thrift. The Hands & Hearts projects blesses others in our community, but it accomplishes so much more for our students.
