The gym is equipped with six retractable baskets with glass backboards, a professional grade volleyball system, and a synthetic athletic floor which is designed to maximize athletic performance. Full locker rooms for men and women allow New Covenant to host conference sporting events. During the school day, the gym is used for physical education classes at all levels.

Complete with a warming kitchen, students also take their noon meal in the gym, with options to purchase catered lunches three days each week. Concessions are offered during sporting events.

A stage at the east end of the gym accommodates dramatic performances such as the poetry contest, the annual spring play, and large gatherings of the parent community. The stage also connects to the music studio, facilitating the movement of musical instruments for regular concert band performances.
