Excellence is often more easily recognized than measured. It is our desire at New Covenant to develop a Christian student who loves God with his heart - and his mind. Ultimately our success awaits the demonstration of a life lived for God in the context of one's vocation. Some things, however, are immediately measureable, such as test scores and student achievements. As such they are worth noting. While these are not the only standards by which we measure success, they are valid indicators of achievement.
While New Covenant provides a college preparatory experience, the primary goal is to develop our students' hearts and minds for God's glory, that they may enjoy success in any vocation to which they may be called. Our purpose is not just to teach a student how to make a living, but also how to live.
Over the last five years, the average SAT score of New Covenant students has held steady at 1280 (old scoring system). Many of our students sit for Advanced Placement Examinations (89% pass rate school-wide), and have earned college credit in calculus, literature, and in composition. One hundred percent of New Covenant students have been accepted to college or university or other institution of higher education.
