Panache Production Registration

Online registration is now open for the Winter and Spring Panache productions at New Covenant Schools.

Use the form below to register for auditions, however registration does not guarantee a part in a play.

Winter Play 2017:  Jabberwock

Rhetoric students only.  Auditions November 16 and 17 at 3:15 p.m.  Show dates February 24-26, matinee and evening performances.

Rehearsals begin Monday, December 5, 3:15-5:30 p.m., and also meet December 6, 8, 12, and 15 before Christmas break.  After the break, rehearsals will continue in the same time slot and run on all Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, unless there is no school on that day. We will also not rehearse the two days before exams.  A detailed rehearsal schedule will be given to all cast members on December 5.  Students with small roles will be expected to attend rehearsals one or two days per week to begin with, on specific days determined by Mrs. Mitchell.  Students with larger roles will be expected to attend three or four days per week.  As the play gets closer, all cast members will need to attend all rehearsals.  It is very important to understand the level of commitment necessary for the play.  Participation, especially during the month of February, must have a high priority.  No student participating in a winter sport may audition for the play.

ALL cast members must attend dress rehearsals on February 20-23, 6:00-9:00 p.m.  Dress rehearsal week is the only week we practice on a Wednesday.

Spring Play 2017:: Honk! The Musical

Middle School only.  Auditions Tuesday, January 10 and Wednesday, January 11  at 3:15 p.m.  Students who wish to audition for a singing role should prepare 30 seconds of a song that shows their voice range.  Bring your own music accompaniment or sheet music, if possible.  However, musical ability is not required to participate in the play.

Show dates:  April 28 and 29, matinee and evening performances.

Leading solo roles will have individual rehearsals for their songs during January and February on a mutually agreeable schedule.  Regular rehearsals begin Monday, February 27, and run 3:05-5:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, unless there is no school on that day. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be given to all cast members on February 27. Participation, especially during the month of April, must have a high priority.  No student participating in a spring sport may audition for the play.

ALL cast members must attend rehearsals on April 24-27 (dress rehearsals) 5:30-8:30 p.m.  Dress rehearsal week is the only week we practice on a Wednesday.
