Annual Fund – Every Family | Every Year
Each year the board of directors conducts a rigorous Annual Fund that supports the day-to-day mission of the school. The fund drive begins on June 1, and concludes on May 31. Gifts of cash and appreciated securities are accepted. Pledges are also accepted and can be structured to accommodate your situation. Gifts to the Annual Fund can be made in memory of loved ones or in honor of anyone you choose.
Capital Campaign
New Covenant Schools maintains a comprehensive campus design that has been developed in two phases. Our 50 acre site and all of our buildings in Phase 1 are completely debt free. In our 2007 capital campaign to add new classroom space, the board added 10,000 additional square feet at a cost of $1.8 million, and is seeking to retire the remaining debt after a successful campaign that concluded in 2009. As a part of its Twentieth Anniversary, New Covenant will seek to expand into a third phase, adding an Upper School addition at costs yet to be determined.
General Scholarship Fund
New Covenant Schools strives to make classical, Christian education available to students across a wide spectrum of economic ability. Without significant assistance through our General Scholarship Fund these students could not benefit from the opportunities at New Covenant. When you give to this fund, you can be sure that you are supporting qualified, selected students, and that you are making a life-changing difference in their lives. Gifts to this fund may not be steered to a particular student to qualify for tax deductibility. For information on how to structure your gift, please call the Headmaster.
Beautification Project
New Covenant has developed 22 acres of its total acreage, with about 27 in natural area and woods. The Beautification Project is an ongoing fund from which trees and shrubs are acquired to promote campus beauty. The project is managed from a master plan. Trees can be given and planted in memory of loved ones or in honor of family members or students.
Endowment
You can assure the ongoing availability of classical, Christian education through planned giving. Consider the tax benefits of leaving a gift from your estate to the Endowment for New Covenant Schools. If you would like information on estate planning, please call the Headmaster’s Office and a school representative will contact you immediately.
