Faculty Forum - The New Covenant Schools Faculty Forum is a significant part of professional development among the members of the faculty. The forum is held four or five times annually and is given over to discussions on books, the presentation of lectures, viewing films, or hosting guest lecturers. The most recent Forum featured a lecture from the literature faculty.

  Erin Linton is an instructor in literature and Latin in New Covenant's Upper School. This lecture was presented at a recent Faculty Forum and explores what it means to be real, as Margery Williams investigates the question in this classic fairy tale. • Dwellers All in Time and Space - John Heaton
  These lectures explore our existence in time as well as the importance and influence of space - the architecture of civic and sacred life. The reflections in these lectures attempt to identify those things that distort our sense of time, that speed up our "psychic metabolism." A proposed (partial) solution is the recovery of the Church calendar as a cultural alternative to the secular rhythms of life. (PowerPoint slides in .pdf format for each lecture are included below.)
