Excellence is often more easily recognized than measured. It is our desire at New Covenant to develop a Christian student who loves God with his heart – and his mind. Ultimately our success awaits the demonstration of a life lived for God in the context of one’s vocation. Some things, however, are immediately measurable, such as test scores and student achievements. As such they are worth noting. While these are not the only standards by which we measure success, they are valid indicators of achievement.
New Covenant provides a college preparatory experience. Our purpose, however, is not merely to teach a student how to make a living, but also how to live.
Over the past decade, the average SAT score of New Covenant students has held steady at 1230-1250 (old scoring system). Many of our students sit for Advanced Placement Examinations (with an 89% school-wide pass rate), and have earned college credit in calculus, literature, and in composition and language. One hundred percent of New Covenant students have been accepted to college or the university or other institutions of higher education, earning more than $2,700,000 in academic and merit scholarships.
